Please also see our Terms and Conditions for full details.

If you’re a UK expat with interests in offshore trusts or you’re worried about being taxed twice on the same income, this can be discussed at a high-level during your initial consultation with your tax specialist. However, some topics are a bit too complex for a standard consultation. For example, topics like offshore trusts, corporate structures, or detailed offshore fund reviews usually need more time and work. We’ll touch on them briefly if they come up, but for full advice, extra follow up sessions are needed.
Additionally, please anticipate that one consultation will not be sufficient to address:
Topics such as these can rarely be addressed within the allocated timeframe for a consultation.
Therefore, please view the consultation as an initial preliminary discussion, during which high-level advice can be discussed and a detailed scope of work drafted if required.
A 1-hour tax consultation is intended as a preliminary discussion to review your specific tax situation and address key concerns on frequently arising expatriate tax matters.
Due to the limited time, it is not designed to provide an exhaustive analysis of every possible tax scenario. We will cover as much as possible within the time frame. Still, in cases where the situation is more complex or requires in-depth planning or research, additional consultations or services may be necessary.
This ensures that all relevant factors are properly considered to provide you with accurate and tailored advice.

UK residency rules are complex – but they’re necessary for determining what income is taxable. During your consultation call your tax expert might, in some simple cases, be able to determine your UK residency but more commonly, a written report will be needed during which a full analysis can be conducted. Your tax expert can work with you to determine your exact standing for tax purposes, helping you meet all your responsibilities and claim available reliefs.

Your tax expert is there to give you the best tax support possible, but they need the right information to do that. So, the more accurate and complete your details are, the better your tax specialist can support you.
